I was always that kid that rolled their eyes whenever their mum told them to take a coat, but it's now 2018 and I CAN'T STOP BUYING THEM!! I found two gorgeous coats in New Look and couldn't decide between them so (of course) had to buy both!
Standing at a whopping 5 ft 2 (and a half), I'm always looking for ways to make myself look taller. I'm a firm believer in high waisted EVERYTHING and so, when the palazzo trouser trend came about, I was definitely intrigued.
Thanks to Debenhams (aka my new fairy godmother), I spent Saturday night at the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball. Words can't describe the excitement I felt when I received the invite - I think I screamed... and then cried... and then called my mum! But then came the task of deciding what to wear.
Rather than the typical 'for him' or 'for your mum' gift guides, I've decided to write one to help you find the perfect gifts for the people that you NEED to impress, but don't really know. This could be your new partner's family, the new manager at work who you desperately need to wow, or your neighbour who feeds your cats whilst you're on holiday. I've prepared a range of gifts which aren't too intimate or expensive, but are sure to excite!
Launched at the beginning of summer, Pizza Express's Vegan Giardiniera pizza has been eaten over 200,000 times and has won the title of 'Best Vegan Pizza' in PETA's 2017 Vegan Food Awards. To celebrate this, and World Vegan Day, I was one of the lucky bloggers invited to Pizza Express' first ever Vegan Pizza party!
Southern Pursuits, located at Tulley's Farm in Crawley, offered me a fun day out and - of course, I jumped at the chance! Southern Pursuits has a whole range of activities, including clay pigeon shooting, archery and hovercrafts. I chose to do quad biking and axe throwing - an activity quickly growing in popularity due to Game of Thrones.
As someone who's struggled with their health, staying well over winter is particularly important to me. Flu season is approaching so I thought I'd share my favourite things that help to keep me going through the cold and rain!
As you guys know, I moved house! Amongst the IKEA trips, bed building and unpacking, it would have been so easy to live off pizza and takeaways! Thankfully, the Nuttie Elves at Nutritional Organic sent me a lovely box filled with fruit and veg
The Squat Magic promises to help you squat with virtually no strain on your knees, and up to 30kg less strain on your joints. My knees (and ankles) are really badly affected by my Fibro flare ups so this is the perfect time to test how true these claims are...
I know what you're thinking, "Ali, I saw your graduation pictures!", but I made the decision not to attend my graduation ceremony! I touched on things a bit in my Instagram post - but I wanted to write a blog post about it to help others in my situation.
I'm really excited to announce that I've joined the 30 Day Booty Challenge. The thought of doing 5000 squats in 30 days didn't exactly fill me with joy but after hearing about how High Street TV's latest product would be helping me achieve this I became very intruiged!
Here's my five top tips for new bloggers to help you do what you love and get recognised for it! Including: the best mailing lists to be a part of, what apps I love, and how to tell a company what you can offer, even if you don't have a large following!
I love a good festival, but I'm also one of those people that hates camping / being dirty / going to the toilet outside. So here's my little festival essentials checklist - so you can enjoy the music without feeling like you're going to get dysentery!
I was kindly invited to try the new Franco Manca, at Brighton Marina.. and obviously opted for the cheesiest pizza possible! Safety first: if you haven't eaten then go get yourself a snack because this blog is about to make you HUNGRY.
Whilst hundreds of people took to the streets to run the Brighton marathon, myself and some of my gorgeous blogging gals bathed in the sunshine at Hotel Du Vin to eat afternoon tea and sip on champagne and gin!
It's hard isn't it? We start a new year making so many promises to ourselves. "This is the year I'll learn a language" "This is the year I'll stop smoking" "This is the year I'll lose weight"... I'm not a fan of New Years Resolutions but even I got swept away and wrote a blog post about how I won't waste any time in 2017!
After watching episode 2 of 'How to Lose Weight Well' on Channel 4, I took to Twitter to vent. In my opinion, the tv show glamourised the 'quick fix' diets such as eating only bone broth for two days a week...
A lot of people will agree with me that 2016 was a tough year. January hit me hard, with so many admired celebrities passing away. But 2016 wasn't stopping there.. I know I don't need to mention all of the awful things that happened last year, I know we won't forget them quickly. But somewhere, amongst all of the bad things, I think we forgot to see the good.
