Mobile neck - aka "I use Instagram too much"

Recently, I've been suffering really badly from the dreaded mobile neck... you know, the one you get from hunching over your phone all day. According to experts, (Kapandji, Physiology of Joints, Vol. 3) “For every inch of Forward Head Posture, it can increase the weight of the head on the spine by an additional 10 pounds.” WHAT?! No wonder my neck has been getting worse and worse the more time I spend scrolling through Instagram!

How to keep 'mobile neck' at bay:
Invest in a supportive mattress and pillow!
Do 'the turtle' - slowly move your head forwards for 5 seconds, and then back for 5 seconds... You look like a turtle but this seriously helps.
Become a yes man - stretch your neck muscles by nodding slowly up and down for 10 seconds at a time.
Take regular breaks from your phone.
After a dreamy night sleep, I spend a few minutes doing these two mobility and stretching exercises and am really noticing the difference! Do you suffer from phone-neck too? I'd love to hear your tips!
